With a sizable population similar to a few other top-tier local cities, Chandler is a relatively large suburb in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This thriving city has seen tremendous progress over the past few decades thanks to its ability to attract top employers including Intel, Wells Fargo, Northrop Grumman, Microchip, Paypal, and more. Unsurprisingly, while homes of varying prices can be found across Chandler, some of the city’s premium properties can represent an excellent blend of proximity and luxury for the right buyers.
Despite being planted on the southern edge of the metro. Chandler maintains a feeling of reasonable proximity to the major city centers due to its position further West relative to some of the other East Valley cities. Here, connection is key with three major freeways (the 101, 202, and I-10) providing access to the rest of the valley.
As is true in many cities, many of Chandler’s top fun and key points of interest are found in proximity to a few key areas including:
DOWNTOWN CHANDLER - Filled with tasty restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops, this walkable downtown area is a great place to spend just about any evening.
THE PRICE ROAD CORRIDOR - A backbone of business and industry, many key employers in the City of Chandler identify somewhere near the Price Road Corridor as their home.
CHANDLER FASHION CENTER - A longstanding shopping destination in the East Valley, Chandler Fashion Center is continuing an overhaul in an effort to bring popular destinations and experiences back to the mall.
Despite being one of the more populous cities in Arizona, Chandler maintains a largely calm, residential atmosphere. With that said, we take food and entertainment quite seriously around here, so allow us to share some of the spots in Chandler that excite us the most.
DIN TAI FUNG - News of the upcoming arrival of restaurant powerhouse Din Tai Fung to the Chandler scene has been creating quite the buzz. While this spot hasn’t opened yet, you can expect it to be sizzling when it does. Don’t worry, we’ll be right there with you!
ANDRETTI - With VR, laser tag, and go-karting (of course), the arrival of the Andretti facility brought a massive new entertainment offering to Chandler. Be sure to catch a race, but don’t challenge Lowery Premier’s Team Lead (Jesse) to a laser tag shootout… You won’t win.
THE HIDDEN HOUSE - Located in an intimate cottage setting within Downtown Chandler, The Hidden House offers a delightful indoor/outdoor dining experience where every seat is a different setting. Blending fancy and friendly, this well-known restaurant features a more casual dining experience in its front courtyard, which includes an outdoor bar. Inside the cottage, you’ll find a more upscale feel, before stepping onto the back patio. The New American menu doesn’t disappoint and if you enjoy cocktails, wine, and/or beer, you’ll find a plethora of options to suit your taste.
With a major employment hub serving as its economic core, Chandler has become a powerful hub for technology and fintech. This environment in turn fuels its ability to maintain wonderful options for dining, entertainment, and of course, homes suitable for many premium buyers. Here at the Lowery Premier Team, we can’t wait to show you around!
